tokyo pictures

Buffet

This is a complete different way to what I have been working but the style of this work really caught my eye. I think it is very different to most vinyl covers, I dont know what it's for but I think it would be classical music.

I really love how they have turned a piece of music in to a piece of art. Each section is something different and tells a story as the music goes on.

Gabriel Moreno

Beautiful work with just a pen and a brush, collageing images together to become one.

Pat Perry

This first image I came across reminded me of the drawing of "flying in to tokyo". I think the colours they have used are really interesting and I love how they have layered sections.

When a photograph is not just a photograph

When I cam across these images they instantly made me feel happy and laugh. Even though they are photographs I think they link to my current project as I am trying to collage images together so they are not what they seem.

ANNIE WU

I love line drawings, and how this person doesnt need to add shading all colours. I like making my images look quite spooking and in the bottom image I was interested how this illustrator made a cow girl/guy look evil.

Existing Artwork

I am glad that the existing artwork for Magnetic man is completely different to my style and how I want mine to look. They are quite dark a gloomy with strong powerful lines.
Although this does work for the type of genre that magnetic man fits in to, I think my illustrations will fit the music to, I am just taking a different approach to the the existing artwork.
